The World Community Development Education Society (WCDES) is a group of ordinary people guided by visions of a better world.

WCDES was formed to foster awareness in our community of development issues and the links between local and global concerns.

WCDES sells Fair Trade, organic coffee from Nicaragua and Chiapas, Mexico, tea from Assam, India, and chocolate from the Dominican Republic.

The society has been registered as a non-profit organization since 1990 and is located in the Comox Valley
